  • How do we work together remotely during a shoot?

    We offer our clients the option to participate remotely during full-day photo shoots. Our digitech can send over images in real time, while we await client feedback and approval. Please be prepared to respond within a reasonable time frame to maintain a smooth workflow throughout the day. Our shoots take place weekdays between 9 am – 5 pm PT.


  • How does booking and payment work?

    Once we have received your booking inquiry, we will send a pricing estimate and services agreement. For single image and half-day packages, an invoice will be sent upon completion of project. And for one-day shoots, 50% of the payment is due upon signing of contract, and the remaining 50% upon completion of project. We accept payment through direct deposit, zelle, or venmo.

  • In the past we’ve only worked with photo agencies. Why is this different? What are the benefits?

    Our business model removes the photo-agency role all together. It's a bold move, but we believe this is more beneficial in building a strong relationship with the client. Direct, streamlined communication benefits everyone.

    Cost efficiency is another huge benefit to working with us. Our transparent fee structure, with up-front pricing, helps you stay on track with your budget and avoids accumulating unexpected costs. And you can skip those hefty agency fees altogether.

  • How do we coordinate product and props prior to and after the shoot?

    We have a select library of surfaces and colored backdrops to choose from. In addition, we can work with the client to source or rent props (including pickup and returns) for an additional service charge. We can receive packages sent to our studio up to one week prior to shooting. After our shoot, we will check in and reassess product or props that the client would like to be sent back. Client is responsible for all shipping costs incurred.

  • What if we want to use an image beyond your usage terms (social media, websites, newsletters), and would like to acquire rights for full usage as in print advertisements, billboards, packaging, and in-store POP displays?

    Our initial contract will outline usage terms. Beyond that, we will require you to reach out to us with the information regarding your additional usage and agree on the additional payment for those terms.

  • Are there any extra fees I should be aware of while planning a shoot?

    We will have a limited prop library of surfaces to choose from. If you'd like a special backdrop, custom surface, or additional props, we can help plan for an additional service charge, but those are not included in our package estimates.

    Please keep in mind that food preparation that takes less than 30 minutes to prepare per image is ideal for our shoots. Labor-intensive or multiple dishes may require additional fees and prep time.

  • How do I make sure my photos are formatted correctly for my needs?

    Before your shoot we will ask you for your technical requirements. Please supply us with information regarding crops or resolution ahead of time for the best results.
